The Emerald City

Thanks for joining us for another week of Hannah's mission... 

here are a few highlights from her first full week in the MTC.

So, this week has been super eventful, but the highlights of this week were the reasons I became a missionary.  I got to go to the temple for the first time being a missionary last Thursday, and can I say wow... when the sunlight hits the temple it illuminates this emerald green that makes it glow. I like to call it My Emerald City, you know like from the Wizard of OZ. It made me think that there is truly no place like the Lord's home to be in.

Anyways, let me tell you how awesome my companion is, Sister Cagle is the most kind, loving, talented, and spiritual person I know.

Now that you have that background we had three new investigators this week. Their names are Tino, Jalyn, & Linda. I have never had so much joy telling people about the church of Jesus Christ and how it has been restored here on earth. Also, never have I ever seen someone's faith grow SO much towards God before. The spirit truly testified to them because I could feel it and see it It in their eyes.

Another thing is how awesome our district is. I never thought that I could have so many people who actually laugh at my jokes, Ha that's not really it :)  It's more on how close we have become and are dedication and diligence to invite and help others come unto Christ. IT'S CRAZY!

Last thing before I end this week's message. I want to apologize...because I wish I could tell you all the things the Lord has blessed (& tender mercies) me and my district with. If I did tell you guys I would have a novel for you to read. So I want to close with how much our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to succeed all individually. I know that keeping his commandments and being obedient in them. We will feel him more and see him in our life everyday. I can testify of that because I have experienced it!

I love all y'all so much!! I hope the best for each of you and hope you can take this challenge I will give you. To do the things I have shared with you. To grow closer to God.
