Now Entering... Topeka Kansas!

Sorry it's been a minute since you last heard from me. But I got some really cool stories since then.

Hannah and a dead squirrel...

Let's first start off with that time when I went to Kansas City. I went to the Temple for the first time since I have been on my mission.  It was beautiful!  I wish everyone could go inside the Kansas City Temple.  It truly is one of a kind.  So the reason we went was that one of my companions (Sister Young) had three recent converts who were trying to go through  the temple. Well they got set up to go to the temple and they chose May 10th to go.  It was amazing to witness them do baptism for the dead. They even brought their own family names too, and it was truly a beautiful experience.

Other than that its been super normal, you know, nothing big has happened at all. Besides that transfers were this week and let me tell you....I'M NOW SERVING IN TOPEKA!! Yeah, that's right... Junction City finally kicked me out. So it has been a pretty normal week for me...  ha!

Anyway, this means I'm no longer in a trio and I'm back to just a companionship. My new companion is Sister Howell, she's from Ammon, Idaho. She is so sweet and she loves tie-dye and hippie stuff. So we already get along.

Anyway, Topeka has been super fun.  I'm in the Sherwood Ward. Apparently this place is CRAZY!! This is the "Hood of Kansas" but you know that makes it the best place to spread the gospel. Speaking of spreading... we got news from my mission President that Kansas will be expecting a Temple in the near future. WOW!! I KNOW RIGHT!! This is legit!! The Lord's work is literally spreading and Kansas is in the middle of it all. This truly testifies that the time is coming of the Second Coming of Christ. I'm so glad to be missionary at this great time. The miracles I see daily are insane and can only be from God. The spirit I feel is undeniably real and helps me understand truth.  I know that because I see it and I feel it.  I'm at the front line of all of this.  We truly are preparing now for him and I know y'all have seen it.  DO YOU SEE IT!?!?... If you don't, look a little harder.  I have seen it and I hope you all do too.  Work with our Lord, side by side to help others see His work and His glory. Show everyone you see it by testifying of Him.  It doesn't matter how big or small... just testify, plant that seed.  I know you don't have to be a missionary to do that.  All you have to do is be bold and confident and have that faith to do so.  I love this quote and I want to share it. It's from President Thomas S. Monson:  "Regarding one testimony, remember, that which one willingly shares he keeps, while that which he selfishly keeps he loses.  Teach and testify. There is no better combination."

I can testify all day long about this but I want to challenge those who know of Jesus Christ's Gospel to Spread it. That testimony is meant for one of God's Children out there and YOU are they only one who can help them. Have absolute faith and don't fear because you know whose side wins. And your on that winning side.

For those who don't know what the heck I'm talking about. Go find yourself a missionary! Go to church!  Read the Book of Mormon, or better yet get on you knees. Ask the Lord personally himself for the answers to life questions. He will give them to you and I know if you read the Book of Mormon it's the fastest way to receive them. That Book is the word of God. Take those first steps.

I love you all and I hope you have a great week!!
