Two Emails for the Price of One! What a deal!

Sorry.  I'm a week behind... so here is last week's email from Hannah first (January 7)

Sorry I didn't send out an email last week. Just know that we had an amazing New Year with some members and the people we're teaching. I also had a great 20th birthday.  I got to celebrate it with the Clipper Family.

Anyway, we had Exchanges with the Hutchinson Sisters. I went with Sister Rogers and we got to work in Newton together. We found so many people! It was a miracle-filled 24 hours.

Then we had our Missionary Leadership Council meeting. There was a lot of operations we talked about and we got to plan for this 2019 year. It was awesome!

You know what else was awesome... this past Sunday we got to do the new "Come Follow Me program. It was great to have an amazing discussion about feeling the spirit.

I love you all and I hope you have a great week!

Love Sister Kraemer

Now this week's email (January 14)

Hello Everyone!

Its been an amazing and eventful week!

On Monday, Sister Sanford and I bought some slacks (Yes, Sister Missionaries can now wear slacks)  and did exchanges with the Wichita West Sisters, until Tuesday night. Hermana (Sister, in Spanish) Holliman and I stayed in Wichita while Herman Rosander and Sister Sanford went up to Newton. Our 24-hr exchanges had begun.

Exchanges with Hermana Holliman in Wichita
Hermana Holliman and I saw some crazy things, but we had the coolest miracle in the first 10 minutes. When we started to contact people in the streets, we had someone who we walked up to say he'd been really wanting to look into our church. He told us he'd been waiting for the missionaries to find him again and when they did he'd most likely join. WHOA! ...was it a powerful, spirit-filled contact!

Hermana Holliman - Exchanges in Wichita - And a new four-legged friend!

Another awesome experience was when we ran into a lady who let us into her home and showed us the HUGE nativity set in her living room. It took half of her living space but it sure was beautiful when she turned on the lights. Besides the nativity I want to tell you guys she didn't speak any English. Now I don't speak any Spanish, so you can see the dilemma I had on my hands. Good thing my companion could speak espanol.  Anyways, it was very powerful contact.  I know this because I felt the spirit... even though I couldn't understand a word they said, I know truth was being spoken. I gained a testimony in that moment that God wants ALL his children, no matter who they are, what their background is, or what language they speak. They need the Gospel in their lives because living the Gospel helps us take the necessary steps to live with God again (you learn this throughout the scriptures or your even through the missionaries!)

Other things like that happened throughout our entire exchange together and how thankful I am to learn what I learned with Hermana Holliman.

Something else that's really cool... Wednesday Sister Sanford and I got to give a training in the Wichita Zone and the Hutchinson Zone, almost at the same time. We got to do training on consecration and accountability and whoa ,was that spirit guided. We kinda wrecked everyone's lives... but it really wasn't us...it was the spirit😂 Anyways, it was amazing and fun because it made us rely on the Lord and that's all he wants us to to do, is rely on Him.

These things set us up to have some awesome miracles and wet days in Newton for the remainder of the week. I actually had to get new shoes because we'd been putting our feet to the pavement.

Well, I love you all and I hope you have a blessed week and that you pray daily to have missionary moments, recognize revelation you're given and to see the Lord's hand daily in your lives.

I love you all!

Love, Sister Kraemer

By the way... transfers are next week so we will find out on Monday, January 21st if she stays in Newton or moves elsewhere.  If you plan on mailing anything, hold off for now unless you send to the Mission Office.  Stay tuned!

Now, all the pictures she sent this week... enjoy!

Picture of my broken zipper on my backpack... it is like all of us and the blue tape
reminds me of Christ's Atonement in our lives.  Remember, you can always repent
and be fixed by Jesus Christ.  Plus,I was really trying to test out my camera!  :)
