Horsing around in Kansas!
People,
Woah! Between last minute road trips and Zone Conference, it's been a great week here in the mission!
Sister Sanford and I started our week off with a mini road trip up to McPherson for dinner. The members from our ward fed us the best chicken ever and gave us the best donut dessert of a lifetime. What's even better was seeing them receive revelation to minister and be member missionaries!
We were also able to have an awesome meeting with those who are given the calling to work with us. We were able to come up with some awesome game plans and ideas on how we can get the whole ward involved in missionary work.
Fast forward thru the week and we had Zone Conference with the Hutchinson and Wichita Zones. It was an adventure getting to Wichita. We had some obstacles like an ice storm and slippery roads, but that didn't stop us from going to receive revelation. Oh how I wish you all were there at this meeting. We were able to learn about Joseph Smith and how he was called to be a Prophet to restore the teachings of Jesus Christ and establish His church. It was so powerful and I gained a stronger testimony and knowledge about Joseph Smith's ministry and the love Heavenly Father has for all of us. I encourage you to learn and gain an understanding of Joseph Smith!
To finish my awesome week we had Stake Conference. It was beautiful because of how the speakers all implied that we need to protect ourselves from the devil's temptations. If we prepare ourselves spiritually and physically by creating an environment where we can have the spirit, we are one step closer to avoiding and overcoming the devil. That's what's beautiful about what I learned in that meeting.... as we come unto Christ we'll have His spirit to be with us.
I love you all and I hope you continue to pray daily, study the scriptures, and go to church so you can be spiritually and physical ready to take on the world! I also hope you look for opportunities to serve each other. It is the BEST!! 😄
Have a great week!
Love, Sister Kraemer
